We are sharing the opportunity to be part of the Vietnam delegation to a youth-organised “World Leadership Conference”, which will be held in Singapore, from the 11th-15th July 2011.

The conference is held bring together the recommendations from Asian youth before the Rio + 20 Summit in 2012 – a global summit on sustainable development which focuses on the following areas:

- Green Economy to Eradicate Poverty

- Environmental Law & Governance

- Energy & Low Carbon Future

We are looking to nominate 3 or more leaders who can represent Vietnamese youth at this event. The delegates will have the following responsibilities

1. Before the conference, organising a simple national consultation, through your clubs, e-mail and online, before the event. You will present this consultation at the conference. The conference will bring together these recommendations from Asian Youth, and submit them for consideration at the Rio+20 summit.

2. Before the conference, Raising money for your airline ticket and some expenses in Singapore. The airline ticket will cost approximately US$150 from Hanoi, less from Ho Chi Minh City.

3. At the conference, representing Vietnamese youth, learning and having fun!

4. 1 week after the conference: Submitting a short story about your experience for the The He Xanh website and  facebook group.
